In addition to donating their time, volunteers are able to enjoy field trips, participate in workshops and socialize with other horticultural enthusiasts. Community Volunteer

Sign-up to volunteer at the Gardens here. Myriad Botanical Gardens is excited to offer a variety of volunteer opportunities for adults, youth, and groups. Volunteers can either be:. Partner volunteers are individuals willing to commit to 36 hours a year approximately 3 hours a month at the Gardens by working alongside our horticulture staff, at our public events and festivals, or helping with education classes. Myriad Botanical Gardens hosts a variety of events year-round that are made possible with the help of our amazing volunteers. This is a huge area of need for the Gardens and is perfect for both individuals and groups to volunteer one time or for those who want to volunteer regularly. If you are a natural teacher or simply love plants and want to share your enthusiasm by learning to lead our education programs, this is an area that always needs additional help.

Volunteer for the Garden

The Royal Botanic Gardens and Domain Trust and Foundation and Friends of the Botanic Gardens, value the role of volunteers understanding that they are an integral part of the organisation. Over community members volunteer to support this work of this historic and important government organisation. Both organisations are advocates of best practice in volunteer management, they respect the skills that volunteers have and the support they give to the Gardens and the greater community. The Gardens volunteers assist with the scientific, horticultural and conservation work of the Gardens and promote the wonderful work of the staff through guided walks and onsite interpretation. The Calyx Horticultural Display Centre Volunteer The primary role is to offer excellence in customer service to visitors in The Calyx by providing a face-to-face opportunity for visitors to ask questions about the plants in the display. Volunteer at the Hahn Horticulture Garden

We have an active volunteering programme, with over volunteers working alongside our practitioners in a range of client-facing, gardening, and administrative roles across our three sites London, Reading and Birmingham. Volunteers are needed to help keep Midland beautiful! With over 12, bulbs to plant in the fall, 86 hanging baskets and 75 large pots in the downtown area, and countless flower beds to maintain throughout the city, there is much for the City of Midland to do to keep flora and fauna looking beautiful and healthy.

Brooklyn Botanic Garden volunteers contribute many hours in almost every department throughout the Garden. As these needs change, other opportunities for volunteering can become available. Please review the list of Volunteer Opportunities to determine your areas of interest. Current volunteers: Sign up for shifts, check your schedule, and more at bbg. Can assist staff with mailings, updating supply lists, assembling and cataloging class supplies; some phone follow-up work, online database name entry, and clip filings, and other administrative office work in Continuing Education, Communications, or Development. Some computer skills preferred.
